Hi,
I bought this pattern to do as a gift for a friend that loves giraffes.  I also bought the wood panel that the artwork was designed for.  The directions and details in the packet made this fun and a joy to work with.  Thank you so much for this learning experience.  My friend received her Twiga/Giraffe and actually cried because she loved it so much.  Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to make someone happy.

"Hi Erika,
I was wracking my brain to come up with something for my daughter’s nutcracker this year and was looking thru old magazines and low and behold I came across your golfer cat from 2004!  I happened to still have a golfer nutcracker from Zim’s and so here he is!!  I love your designs and instructions.  I worried about putting the fur on right but it was easy once I got into it!  Thank you so much for your designs!"

Merry Christmas!

"Dear Erika,
Your design "Designer Bag Dispenser" was so

eye-catching that it became a "must do" for this group of ladies. They are beginners in my acrylics class at our local college, and this was the perfect project for strokework. We thought you would enjoy seeing what you inspired, and how your pattern was adapted to the paper mache boxes they used. Other background colors were tried, but this was the most popular. Thank you for the joy of painting your inspiration."

"I really have had an enjoyable paint & pencil time. This technique is fun and easy. It kept me focused until I finished the work. It's a fun-easy way to introduce these two mediums into decorative painting.... did I repeat fun and easy? Each tip in the pattern packet is worth it!"

"Hi Erika,
I just received your newsletter.  I painted 4 of the cat nutcrackers one Christmas.  One for each of our children and one for me.  I love mine so much I keep it out all year.  They were fun to paint and we all have cats.  I don't know if this was a pattern packet but I painted it from Paintworks I believe. I have four of the mouse nutcrackers started but had to pack them up for now because we will be moving. I can wait to paint those."

"Hello:  Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that I bought your pattern "Green Eyes"  at the SDP convention in May.  I finished it and entered it in the Kansas State Fair and won a second place on it.  I just love it and have had many comments on the piece.  It was a nice pattern and I hope to get more from you."

Sister Mary sent us a letter...

"Dear Erika,
We have a yearly bazaar for our sick and retired sisters each year. This year your Nativity Puzzle was a big success. Our little group consists of nine sisters ranging in age from 66 to 85. One of our sisters did the baseocat, another the painting, and another the finishing. We made six and they turned out really nice, if I must say so myself! We sold one to an older mother who had her first child last December. She was so excited that her little boy could hold the figures and place them in the manger and she could tell the "story".  Another set was bought by the principal of the "The Sister's School", which is a school for the inner city children, and the other three were purchased by an alumni. Hope this little bit of information warms you heart as it did mine."

Gratefully - Sister Mary from Watchung, NJ
